Baido is a slow-fashion brand founded by Colombian designer Victoria Ruiz.

The brand was created as a reflection of Victoria’s lifelong dedication to design, craftsmanship, and intentional creation.

Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, Victoria Ruiz grew up surrounded by fabrics and threads in her family’s garment factory—an early immersion that shaped her sensitivity for textiles and construction. She later studied Fashion Design at IDEC, graduating with the Creativity Medal and a Laureate Thesis, distinctions that marked the beginning of her professional journey.

Her path led her to Panama, where she founded Saya by Victoria Ruiz, dressing beauty queens and public figures, serving as the exclusive designer for Miss Panama, and collaborating with Miss Panama for Miss Universe. Her work has been featured in national and international fashion publications.

Today, from a place of maturity, calm, and renewed purpose, Baido is born.

Each Baido piece reflects experience, intention, and respect for the body—designed to move with ease, honor femininity, and transcend trends. Rooted in craftsmanship and thoughtful design, Baido celebrates timeless silhouettes, mindful production, and authenticity.
